Job summary

JC Warner HVAC is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC systems for light commercial and residential customers in Maryland. The technician reports to the Service Manager and performs a range of routine service tasks with reliability and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing systems, communicating upfront pricing to customers, and supporting the sales team with referrals.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, GED or suitable equivalent.
• 2+ years HVAC experience preferred.
• Good verbal and reading skills and ability to communicate with customers and suppliers.
• On-call rotation for after hours, weekends, holidays.
• Physically agile and able to work in confined spaces in all weather conditions.
• Current Maryland driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform routine HVAC service activities without regular on-site assistance.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Communicate upfront pricing before completion of repairs with homeowners and building owners.
• Provide referrals for qualified leads to the sales staff.
• Performing related duties as directed by the Service Manager.
