Job summary

Dave Jones is seeking an HVAC Pre-Apprentice to support seasoned installers on residential and commercial projects. You will load/unload equipment, help with ductwork, piping, and equipment placement, and keep worksites clean and safe.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour, with opportunities to learn on a growing, full-service mechanical subcontractor. Valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC Installers with ductwork, gas piping, condensate piping, venting, and equipment placement.
• Load and unload materials and organize jobsites for safety and efficiency.
• Cut and core openings in structures for pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
• Caulk and foam interior and exterior penetrations for fire stopping and draft control.
• Support testing equipment setup for municipality inspections.

Job Summary

As an HVAC Pre-Apprentice, you will assist experienced HVAC Installers by loading and unloading equipment, using basic hand and power tools, and helping with tasks such as cutting sheet metal, installing ductwork, and assembling components onsite. Additionally, you will support jobsite housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Starting pay is $20.00/hr.
