Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking an Equipment Engineering Service team member responsible for cleaning and rebuilding PM assemblies for HIVAC toolsets, routine system maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts repair management across engineering departments.

You will collaborate with vendors and senior staff, demonstrate hands-on electrical/mechanical aptitude, and work in a fab-cleanroom environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have: high school diploma or AS degree in progress preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to lift 70 lbs or more for component handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning/rebuild and routine maintenance of HIVAC toolsets.
• Manage parts repair processes across engineering departments (vendor quotes, RMAs, PR/POs).
• Demonstrate competency with test equipment, meters, hand tools, and power tools.
• Learn tool operation and navigate control screens effectively.
• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair on PM assemblies.
• Collaborate with vendors, technicians, and engineers for preventive maintenance.
