Job summary

IES Residential is seeking a Plumbing/HVAC Warehouse Technician to join our team in Nashville. This on-site role supports warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling for residential plumbing and HVAC supplies.

The candidate should have 0–2 years of experience, with preference for prior warehouse exposure, and basic knowledge of Plumbing/HVAC materials. Strong communication, safety adherence, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, inventory, or labor experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC materials and supplies preferred.
• Ability to identify, organize, handle, and maintain Plumbing and HVAC materials used in residential construction and service operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks.
• English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling activities.
• Receive, stock, organize, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment.
• Support warehouse personnel by preparing materials and supplies for operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate with supervisors and operational teams regarding warehouse requirements and inventory updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment readiness.
• Contribute as a team player in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
