Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking an HVAC Helper to join our team in Columbus, OH.

The role supports the HVAC department by performing plumbing and HVAC tasks and assisting plumbers and HVAC mechanics with daily projects. The ideal candidate will have OSHA 10 or 30, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work well independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Must have OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair and maintenance of all plumbing systems including drainage, waste, vent, gas and piping, fixtures, faucets, and water heaters.
• Assist with the installation, repair and maintenance of all HVAC systems including boilers, furnaces, air conditioning, piping, controls and ductwork.
• Keep the mechanics' vehicle organized, stocked with material and clean.
• Review and complete assigned training curriculum.
• Have hand tools as required by the company.
• Wear PPE as established by the company guidelines.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the manager.
