Qualifications
- Completion of the twelfth school grade and one year of experience performing basic repairs and maintenance to HVAC equipment.
- Certificate from a recognized HVAC program may substitute for the required experience.
- Valid driver's license (must attach copy before submitting application).
Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC Technicians in preparing work areas.
- Assist with troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Assist in installing and repairing HVAC equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
- Operate hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment as needed.
- Operate a computer to control building automation systems and keep records.
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics.
