South Dakota Developmental Center is seeking a skilled HVAC/plumbing technician to install, maintain and repair the facility's mechanical infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The role covers troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and work in an active residential care environment; licenses preferred; able to lift up to 50 lbs; full-time, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Licensed HVAC or Plumber preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and building automation interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled troubleshooting and repair of plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance for plumbing and HVAC.
• Locate problems, determine procedures and repair or adjust systems to restore operation.
