Modine Manufacturing Co. is seeking a hands-on Piper to join our production team. You will install and assemble piping for gas trains and HVAC components, reading blueprints and working with copper, steel, and PVC.

You’ll cut, bend, and thread pipe, diagnose performance, and contribute ideas for process improvements. The role requires reading drawings, basic math, and strong teamwork. A safety-focused mindset and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential; a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• A safety-conscious individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment using hand tools.
• Experience or familiarity with plumbing, pipefitting, or HVAC systems is a huge plus!
• The ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math.
• A team player with great communication skills who is proud of their work.
• Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble critical piping systems for gas trains, burners, and cooling components.
• Read blueprints and drawings to bring complex HVAC designs to life.
• Work with a variety of materials, including copper, steel, and PVC.
• Cut, bend, and thread pipe using hand and power tools to meet precise specifications.
• Diagnose, adjust, and ensure the top performance of every system you build.
