Job summary

Brian Cox Mechanical Inc. is seeking a skilled Pipefitter with Welder Fabricator experience to join our growing HVAC and mechanical constructions team.

You will fabricate and weld carbon steel and stainless pipe, read blueprints, perform shop fabrication, and assemble piping systems on sites. Qualifications include pipefitter/welder experience, ability to read fabrication drawings, strong attention to detail, and prior shop fabrication experience.

Qualifications

• Pipefitter/Welder experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Prior shop fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld carbon steel pipe, stainless steel process pipe, and structural steel components.
• Read interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
• Perform shop fabrication, fitting, and welding according to project requirements.
• Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and ensure all welds meet company and project standards.
• Assemble and install pipe systems, pipe supports, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Install pipe for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubrication, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.
• Assemble materials at jobsite, select type and size of pipes, cut, thread, and hammer pipes.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with shop and field personnel to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
