Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, is seeking an HVAC Engineer to support PV cell manufacturing facilities in Jeffersonville, Indiana. You will provide engineering and technical support for mechanical utilities, monitor systems, and drive reliability improvements to keep operations running smoothly.

The role collaborates with technicians, production teams, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement energy-efficient upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety and industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Facility/Building Services engineering or related field.
• 1–3+ years in mechanical utilities or high-tech manufacturing environments preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, PCW, CDA, vacuum, pumps, piping, and related systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs and mechanical drawings; able to analyze data to improve reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for mechanical utility systems and facility operations.
• Monitor equipment status, alarms, energy consumption, and system performance.
• Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency recovery activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
