Job summary

FM Tech Mechanical Trades is seeking a Journey-level Facility Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Trades) with an HVAC specialty to perform skilled maintenance, repair, fabrication, installation, and design of facility components across university buildings. You will follow detailed instructions, read schematics, and apply trade knowledge to codes and standards.

The position is full-time, 40 hours/week, 12 months, with an 8:00am–4:30pm schedule and on-call designation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled maintenance/repair services in various buildings, working independently and occasionally supervising Facility Maintenance Technicians with less demonstrated skills.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

EPA Universal 608 refrigeration license
