Job summary

U.S. Engineering Service in Missouri seeks a Sales Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

You will sell repair work, project work, and service agreements addressing HVAC and plumbing needs across multiple markets. Responsibilities include prospecting, evaluating equipment, preparing tailored proposals, and renewing contracts while collaborating with marketing and operations to maximize customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or HVAC/mechanical preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of sales/marketing experience preferred.
• Sales experience in a technical industry preferred.
• Practical experience in HVAC field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leverage a methodical sales process to identify and build new customer relationships across commercial, healthcare, government, science, technology, industrial, and education markets.
• Prospecting, targeting, calling, and qualifying new business opportunities.
• Survey and evaluate equipment systems to determine repair approaches and maintenance requirements.
• Sell, manage, and renew service agreements; increase maintenance coverage at renewal.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and update sales materials.
• Qualify customers and present proposals using professional visual aids.
• Conduct market research and provide insights to increase market penetration.
