Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking an HVAC services professional based in Harwood, ND, with strong commercial experience to service HVACR systems.

You will work with journeymen and be part of a team that maintains, repairs and replaces commercial heating and cooling equipment. The role requires a minimum of five years in HVAC, EPA refrigerant certification, OSHA 30-hour certification after hours, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification which is to be done after hours and weekends is required upon hire.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred Refrigeration Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Work Location

Work Location: This role is based in Harwood, ND. While the official Johnson Controls office is located in Fargo, ND, day-to-day work will primarily take place in Harwood. We are also open to candidates residing in nearby areas such as Grand Forks, Fargo or Hillsboro.

Do you have HVAC experience? We are looking for HVAC systems serviceman who have worked in residential, light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment.

Journeyman must be skilled craftsmen in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry.

You may be required to pass a satisfactory examination as to your special skill.

Scope of Work

Scope of work shall be limited to commercial HVACR service.

Servicemen may partner with Journeymen in the repair of centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines, open-drive screw chillers and ammonia systems. Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.

Benefits and Pay

• Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
• Pay Range: $42.83 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
