Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager in Conyers, GA to lead commercial HVAC construction from preconstruction to closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relations while ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in mechanical project management, strong HVAC systems knowledge, and excellent communication and leadership skills. This role emphasizes safety and collaboration across field teams and clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical project management, HVAC focus.
• Experience managing commercial HVAC construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (split, VRF, chilled water, packaged units).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and OSHA compliance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, general contractors, and clients.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
• Oversee installation of HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment.
• Review project drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps and ensure constructability.
• Adapt to changing project schedules, field conditions, and design updates.
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, installation quality, and system performance.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
