RVE, an Ardurra Company, is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Intern in our Durham, NC office.
This candidate will work under general supervision and perform assignments of limited scope that require the application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related tasks. Projects may include HVAC system design, heating and cooling load calculations, ductwork and piping systems, equipment selection, energy efficiency improvements, building mechanical systems, and related infrastructure improvements. The intern will gain hands‑on experience supporting the design and analysis of mechanical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
Under supervision, the Intern I will support a variety of mechanical and HVAC engineering projects and assist with day‑to‑day project tasks. This may include helping with technical documentation, basic engineering calculations, equipment selection, system layouts, data collection, site visits, and other fieldwork.
