Job summary

Superior Mechanical, Incorporated seeks an HVAC Mechanical Engineer to support planning, design, estimation, coordination, and delivery of commercial and industrial mechanical systems. The role focuses on practical, code-compliant HVAC solutions aligned with client needs, project requirements, energy performance, constructability, and Superior Mechanical's standards.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of HVAC, mechanical consulting, design-build, construction, service, controls, or facilities engineering experience.
• Hands-on CAD experience; strong AutoCAD preferred.
• Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure; candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged.
• Experience with Revit, load-calculation software, equipment-selection tools, energy modeling.
• Familiarity with applicable mechanical, energy, ventilation, fire/life-safety, and building codes and standards, including ASHRAE guidance.
• Experience with design-build project delivery, existing-building renovations, commissioning, building automation systems, or energy-efficiency projects.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, estimating, coordination, and successful delivery of commercial and industrial mechanical systems.
• Develop practical, code-compliant HVAC solutions reflecting customer needs and project requirements.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers, field personnel, customers, architects, contractors, vendors and other project partners from concept through project completion.
