University of Richmond is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to provide service and maintenance for mechanical operations and HVAC/refrigeration equipment across campus, including large commercial and specialty systems, to support the University’s educational mission. The full-time, first-shift position requires a H.S.
Diploma or GED, technical training, and 4–7 years of HVAC experience, with the expectation to obtain a Journeyman Mechanical License and refrigerant handling certification on hire.
Provide service and maintenance for all aspects of mechanical operations and heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration equipment (especially large commercial and specialty systems) so as to support the University's educational mission.

H.S. Full-time, non-exempt positionMonday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; 8 hours a day; 40 hours per week; flexibility required.All Facilities employees are designated as essential personnel and are subject to work outside the normal work schedule on an emergency basis and are also subject to planned overtime work as required by the immediate supervisor.
Pay Grade 6 (Hiring Range $24.26 to $36.08 per hour)
