CBRE Government and Defense Services is seeking a skilled HVACR Mechanic/Technician to support BAS and HVACR systems in healthcare and regulated environments. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming of BAS/DDC systems, and ensure safety and compliance across assigned facilities.
The role requires experience with electrical and mechanical equipment, reading schematics, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
Primarily performs maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, servicing and programming of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Commercial and Industrial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Systems (HVACR), Exhaust Fans, Return Fans, Make Up Air Fans, Commercial Kitchen Equipment, Pneumatic and Mechanical systems. Electrical Motors, Belt, Direct Driven of various size motors and horsepower. Performs duties to support energy sustainment.
3 – 5 years’ experience in a healthcare or similar regulated industrial setting as a HVACR Mechanic / Technicians Engineer with primary assignment to operate and manage BAS, DDC, and HVACR systems and, any combination of education and experience, which would provide the required knowledge and skills, is qualifying.
Work is performed indoors and outdoors in climatic weather conditions. Required to wear protective clothing and devices when working with hazardous chemicals. Subjected to hazardous gases, high pressure gases, hot liquids, dirt, dust, and oil/grease. Requires physical dexterity, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting heavy objects to perform duties. Must be physically able to work on ladders, scaffolds, platforms, roofs and in cramped equipment rooms and other confined spaces.
