Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our construction-focused team in the Roanoke area. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of boilers, chillers, split systems, VRF, VAV, and exhaust systems while ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills to explain technical details to clients. Travel to various sites and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years as HVAC mechanic, preferably in construction.
Experience with boilers, chillers, split systems, package units, VRF, VAV, exhaust systems, and controls.
Extensive knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong understanding of HVAC system designs and their integration into building structures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
Valid driver''s license and ability to travel to job sites.
HVAC certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components.
Diagnose and fix boilers, chillers, VRF/VAV, exhaust systems, and controls.
Perform preventative maintenance for optimal performance.
Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and propose solutions.
Ensure HVAC systems meet company standards and regulations.
Collaborate with construction team for seamless integration into building designs.
