GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for replacing the furnaces and condensers at the Piegan Old Port apartment building located in Babb, MT in accordance with specifications and established safety guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Replace existing furnaces, condensers, and thermostats.
• Inspect and test system to verify compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
• Test and operate the new HVAC system to ensure it is operational prior to leaving the site.
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
• Must currently have and maintain a State of Montana HVAC license/certification.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an HVAC Mechanic.
• Must provide and maintain your own set of professional tools.
• Must have knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in the HVAC field.
• Must have a working knowledge and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and driving history must meet company standards throughout employment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check as a condition of employment and to obtain access to federal installations.
