Job summary

Freund Enterprises, Inc. seeks a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join the construction team.

You will install, assemble, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on commercial and residential projects, reading blueprints and adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of installation experience, can interpret technical diagrams, and works well under tight deadlines on site.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation experience on construction sites is required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and airflow.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, units, and controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Measure, cut, and assemble duct systems and components.
• Test HVAC systems for proper operation and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform system start-ups and ensure proper calibration.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on-site.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Document work performed and report progress to supervisors.
