Job summary

DAE Sung, LLC is seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineer Mechanic for the Philip Philbin Federal Building in Fitchburg, MA. This union position offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, health & welfare benefits and a pension under the collective bargaining agreement.

Salary scales include HVAC Level I ($40.78/hr), Level II ($44.86/hr), Level III ($47.93/hr), and Level IV ($51.00/hr), with effective rates changing to $42.78 and $49.93 per hour on 10/1/2026.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• Universal EPA or CFC certification is required.
• Technical HVAC training is highly desired.
• Must obtain/maintain NATE certification within 6 months of employment.
• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations, preventive and corrective maintenance on BAS, boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other HVAC equipment and building systems.
• Maintain facilities and work on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
