Qualifications

• Proven experience as HVAC mechanic in new construction homes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use HVAC tools.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC duct work and systems in new residential construction.
• Install components per manufacturer specs and local codes.
• Complete final HVAC phases, including outdoor condenser units and GRDs.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals to diagnose issues as needed.
• Ensure safety and environmental regulations during service activities.
• Communicate effectively with team, leadership, and builders.

About the Role:

Sobieski Mechanical Contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our New Home Construction team. This position is responsible for installing HVAC systems in new residential construction while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications and code. The ideal candidate has hands-on new construction experience, understands HVAC installation from rough-in through completion, and takes pride in delivering quality work on every project.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship.
• Proven experience working as an HVAC mechanic for new construction homes.
• Ability to read blue print and use HVAC needed tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of local and national HVAC codes and standards.
• Journeyman preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
