Job Title: HVAC Technician

Responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining all heating, ventilation, and cooling systems in the hospital.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain proper temperatures and ventilation throughout the hospital. Maintain all control systems (electric and pneumatic) for AHU and chillers.
2. Ensure all medical gases are maintained at proper pressures. Test heating and cooling water and add chemicals as needed.
3. Conduct preventative maintenance to maintain all equipment. Repair any equipment that is not operating properly.
4. Install all new equipment, including duct installations and piping medical gases.
5. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Specifications:

• Vocational/technical training and a minimum of five years of job-related experience or equivalent.
• RI Refrigeration License required.
