OverviewThe HVAC Mechanic is experienced in all phases of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. This individual inspects, repairs and maintains HVAC systems in addition to maintaining parts, supplies and equipment. Responsible for following the operational and departmental guidelines, and for meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements, e.g. OSHA.
In addition to High School Graduate or equivalent, 1 year post-secondary/vocational training in air conditioning, refrigeration, math, physics, chemistry, and basic mechanics is preferred. Candidate must be proficient with direct digital controls (DDC). Universal certification preferred. Journeyman's license for Heating Vent and AC must be attained by the end of the first year of employment.
Mission Essential Personnel. Rotating Shifts and availability to work on-call as required.
