• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning HVAC/R equipment.
• Maintain HVAC/R inventory and make repairs.

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Flexible shifts and hours, 7:00am - 3:30pm, or as needed with weekend, holiday and on call rotation

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Facilities or designee, perform routine predictive & prevent ive maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) equipment and systems throughout the facilities. Perform renovations and install new HVAC/R systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning HVAC/R equipment and systems. Maintain HVAC/R inventory. Make repairs, calibrate and functionally test equipment and systems. Recommend solutions for necessary corrective action.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Heating preferred.
• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License and Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification required.
• Related experience required to demonstrate ability to operate and maintain typical HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Systems.
• Two (2) years experience in a hospital or industrial environment with knowledge in the maintenance and repair of centrifugal chillers, energy management systems and associated equipment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Compensation

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $29.33 - USD $50.24 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement
