Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Specialist to perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support remodels and new construction projects. You will document work, manage parts inventory, and assist with emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC units and associated gear, following approved procedures, and mentoring junior staff. Strong safety and mechanical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years building maintenance experience required.
• One year hazardous materials handling experience required.
• Three years preventative maintenance required.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs to building equipment to extend life and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and service HVAC units, including Freon and motor components.
• Assist with in-house remodels and coordinate with outside HVAC contractors.
• Document maintenance activities and manage inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Monitor air compressors and related units; report issues to management.
• Use technical references and data to complete tasks safely.
• Provide guidance to junior specialists and support team goals.
• Assist with snow removal and respond to facilities emergencies; weekend call-out as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
