Job summary

Carolina Comfort Air is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service residential and commercial HVAC systems. You will interpret work orders, determine parts and procedures, and perform diagnostic testing with meters.

On-site, you’ll install thermostats, UV lights, surge protectors, and other components; maintain safety and professional appearance; participate in in-house training; benefits include medical, dental and vision after 90 days, holiday and vacation pay, and a $20k life insurance

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC.
• Ability to read work orders and determine parts and procedures.
• Able to work from ladders 4’–40’.
• EPA certification a plus (not required).
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Test electrical circuits for continuity with a meter.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment after cleaning.
• Inspect and repair low voltage connections as needed.
• Install thermostats, UV lights, surge protectors, air scrubbers.
• Build system diagnostic checklists and document findings.
