Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years’ HVAC experience and technical training preferred.
• Must have valid licensing or certification as required for the work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and able to read wiring diagrams.
• Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate necessary tools.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
• Ability to access attics/crawl spaces and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Works under general supervision to perform maintenance calls.
• Performs routine precision tune-ups on HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Inspects equipment to identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Delivers and removes parts and equipment for service work.
• Assists the Service Technician with HVAC servicing.
• Records information on customer calls using a handheld device and completes paperwork.
• Communicates with dispatch for accurate status reports.
• Delivers excellent customer service and sustains satisfaction.
• Promotes products/services and reports sales leads.
• Ensures company property and tools are maintained and accounted for.
