Job summary

TLR Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician – HVAC for the Clearwater, FL area to maintain the physical integrity of the apartment community, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents and staff.

In this role, you will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, and construction, respond to service requests within 24 hours, and assist with keeping common areas clean and well-maintained. All safety and EPA/OSHA regulations must be followed.

Qualifications

• Up-to-Date universal EPA certification required from an approved and licensed authority.
• HVAC certification/license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trades/maintenance knowledge.
• At least 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance activities including repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, and construction in a timely manner according to company policies to maximize occupancy and ROI.
• Completes service requests within 24 hours.
• Keeps property common areas neat and free of litter; performs routine grounds keeping as needed.
• Maintains knowledge and enforcement of laws and regulations governing hazardous materials, including solvents and freon.
• Willing to respond to 24-hour maintenance emergencies and may be assigned to other communities as needed.
