Job summary

ESFM, the facility management arm of Compass Group USA, has an opening for a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician in Richmond, VA. You will work under supervision to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and ensure safety and building standards compliance.

Candidates should have at least five years in maintenance, EPA ACR certification, and experience with blueprints; strong problem-solving, ability to lift 50 pounds, and use of hand tools are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting.
• Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification or equivalent.
• Experience working with blueprints and schematics; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and basic repairs on HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Uses CMMS to update work statuses and document tasks.
• Assists in determining manpower, materials, and deadlines for jobs.
• Responds to emergencies and completes PM work orders and inspections.
