Sila Boston is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician in Stoneham, MA to diagnose, service, and maintain residential systems, and to work with a supportive local team.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and present repair options to homeowners, with a focus on safety and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Experience with furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, and AC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and low-voltage troubleshooting.
• Ability to explain technical issues to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, refrigerant, and control issues.
• Service furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, central AC systems, and air handlers.
• Explain findings and present repair or replacement options to homeowners.

• Complete estimates, invoices, and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, parts, and equipment.
• Follow EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Provide a professional customer experience from start to finish.

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, refrigerant, and control issues
• Service furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, central AC systems, and air handlers
• Explain findings and present repair or replacement options to homeowners

Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of HVAC Maintenance experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• EPA 608 certification required

• Ability to explain technical issues in a way customers understand
• Comfortable presenting repair and replacement options
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Service Titan or similar field service software experience is a plus
