Who You Are

Service Technicians perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues. Youmust be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make theappropriate recommendationsto the customer. Youmust also be comfortable asking for money and deliver excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform skilled maintenance and service on HVAC systems, including duct work,
• Submit customer invoices via company iPad, correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostics, and all recommended repairs.
• Perform proper maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems thatpreventssystems from breaking down and provide safety and comfort for our clients.
• Communicate options to clients for maintenance, repairs,andreplacement, IAQ, and insulation
• Ability to speak andmaintainprofessionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule andmaintainattendance based on business needs.
• Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, and inan accuratemanner.
• Ability to manage stress, difficult, oremotionalcustomer situations.
• Operating company vehicles, and you will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well asmaintainthe cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicles.
• Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training, and no tolerance will be accepted for disregard of safety instructions.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipmentutilizedin the trade.

Required Qualifications

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation & Hours

• Hourly + Commissions (this position offers commission on equipment sales, IAQ sales, and insulationsales)
  • $12.50/hr + 8% commission (minimum of $500/week)
  • Our maintenance and service technicians are averaging $1,500 - $2,200+ / week
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• Days: Monday - Friday with on call rotation, including weekends
