Job description

Revive Property Management is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our team. HVAC certification is required. This is a full-time hourly position involving diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems within our apartment complex. The role primarily involves working with typical residential all-electric systems. Additional duties may include light plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance when HVAC calls are not pending. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspect buildings and equipment to ensure systems are functional, and recommend repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Order parts and maintain documentation.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly.
• Maintain logs and records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Be on-call for maintenance emergencies, scheduled for one week every 6-7 weeks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• HVAC certification required.
• Preferred: experience in the HVAC field.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles.
• General maintenance skills including light plumbing and electrical work.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hours daily.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, kneel, stoop, and bend.
• Manual dexterity for equipment installation and maintenance.

Work Environment:

• Indoor/outdoor building maintenance environment, exposure to moving mechanical parts, and seasonal temperature variations.
