Position: HVAC Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $45,000–$80,000 per year
Location: Work Locally – No Long Commutes
Primary Purpose
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the trusted professional who ensures customer satisfaction through expert maintenance and diagnosis of residential HVAC systems. You’ll deliver top-tier service with integrity, professionalism, and a smile—no installation work required!
️ Key Responsibilities
Conduct seasonal maintenance and system inspections (furnaces, A/Cs, heat pumps, etc.)
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related HVAC issues
Educate homeowners on system operation and energy-saving practices
Keep detailed, accurate records of services and materials used
Maintain a clean, safe work environment on every job site
Stay informed on emerging HVAC technology and industry best practices
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of HVAC experience (preferably residential)
EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II or Universal)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong ability to work independently and efficiently manage service calls
Physical Requirements:
Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and outdoor areas
Able to safely operate ladders and hand/power tools
Reports To: HVAC Supervisor or Service Manager
