Job summary

Able Heating & Air is hiring an HVAC service technician in Culpeper, VA. Earn $18.00 to $23.00 per hour as part of our family‑owned team delivering quality service and reliable comfort to customers.

We offer training, paid time off, retirement options, and 50% of medical premiums paid. Candidates should have at least 6 months of HVAC maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience doing HVAC maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Acquire EPA certification within 3 months of entering Service Technician.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Enroll in HVAC course and/or in-house training programs.

• Follow safety procedures when using ladders and tools.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Minimum 6 months experience doing HVAC maintenance
• Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the service of HVAC equipment
• Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes
• Work from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Enroll in HVAC course and/or in house training programs
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given
• Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service skills
• Acquire EPA certification within 3 months of entering Service Technician
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
