Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in New York is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform routine HVAC maintenance, basic diagnostics, and on-site servicing while delivering excellent customer service.

Must have a High School Diploma/GED, EPA safety certifications, valid driver's license, and the ability to read wiring diagrams; willing to work flexible hours and on-call shifts; HVAC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures for HVAC equipment.
• Ability to perform routine tune-ups and inspections.
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work with dispatch.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and precision tune-ups on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects and performs limited diagnostics to identify potential problems.
• Assist Service Technician on servicing HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Complete all forms and paperwork neatly and on time; collect payments if required.
• Communicate with dispatch and maintain accurate status of activities.
