Job summary

Aspen Square Management is seeking a versatile maintenance technician to perform on-site tasks at The Preserve at Alafia in Riverview, FL. The role requires hands-on HVAC work, make-readies, and responsive service to residents.

The technician will handle work orders, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with the maintenance and office teams to maintain property standards and curb appeal. EPA licensure is required, and valid transportation is a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience (property management experience advantageous).
• EPA licensure is required.
• Hands-on expertise with HVAC systems.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to go off-site.
• Provide own hand tools.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, performing repairs and preventive upkeep.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, make readies, and punch lists.

Position Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience (prior experience in property management or housing is advantageous)


• Hold EPA licensure


• Demonstrate hands-on expertise with HVAC systems


• Ability to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies as scheduled


• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from work, ability to go off-site


• Provide own hand tools


• Essential functions of the position regularly require the ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time, the ability to operate equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
