We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our team here at Standard as a HVAC Lead Installer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the team during the installation, maintenance, and repairing of HVAC systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers. Responsibilities

• Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties according to specifications and building codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures.
• Measure, cut and fit ductwork and piping using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Install electrical wiring and controls for HVAC systems, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
• Test HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and meet performance standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC systems, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to coordinate installation projects and ensure timely completion.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from homeowners and ensuring their satisfaction with the installed HVAC system.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours and service reports.

Required Skills and Responsibilities

• Proven experience as an HVAC installer.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to HVAC installation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical stamina.
• Ability to kneel, lift 50-70 lbs, and climb ladders.
• Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year.
