About This Role:

As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will lead your install team. After receiving instructions from our Installation Manager, you will instruct your team and execute professional installations. You will work hands-on with your crew installing HVAC and refrigeration equipment, ensuring installations are done properly, safely, and to high standards, while providing excellent customer service.

About You:

• You have 5+ years of field experience and seek growth and support
• You prioritize getting the job done right the first time
• You are a strong communicator and can explain basic maintenance to customers
• You enjoy training and mentoring apprentices

What You'll Do:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems
• Maintain inventory, parts, tools, and safety equipment
• Mentor and train apprentices, providing learning opportunities
• Diagnose issues, replace parts, and calibrate systems according to manufacturer guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service, resolving technical, logistical, and scheduling issues
• Perform quality work with honesty, diligence, and adherence to company procedures and values

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of field experience
• Active Driver's License
• Tech-savvy, with ability to use tablets and learn software easily
• Experience developing repair and installation quotations
• Analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to read blueprints, plans, and manuals
• Proven experience installing and servicing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties
• Willingness to work weekends and on-call shifts when needed

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

• Prioritize safety, with knowledge of safe practices and OSHA requirements
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, handle controls, hear, and talk
• Climb ladders and work in hot, cold, and confined spaces
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs regularly
• Work outdoors across seasons depending on the scope of work
