Job summary

A trusted home repair company in Albuquerque is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join their team. The role involves installing and maintaining HVAC systems, requiring strong expertise and customer service skills. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of HVAC installation experience and a valid driver's license. This position offers competitive pay between $80,000 to $120,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Prior HVAC installation experience in a Senior or Lead role, with at least 5+ years of total HVAC installation experience.
• Experience overseeing less-experienced techs and ensuring their work is of high quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
• Remove old systems and install new systems following the installation checklist.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Keep the customer informed of installation progress.

Job description

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Schedule: Monday-Friday + rotating weekends.
Pay: Piece Rate and Hourly Pay. $80,000 to $120,000.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Remove old systems and install new systems; following the installation checklist.
• Meet local HVAC codes and follow all safety guidelines that apply.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work with and train any install helpers assigned to work with you.
• Keep the customer informed of what you are doing when you are doing it, and how it will be done.
• Ensure that all requests for installations have been closed out and completed.
• Learn product features and benefits.
• Follow proper procedures for obtaining purchase orders, material recycling, etc.
• Maintain required equipment and inventory in the truck for maximum efficiency.

Experience/Education
