Responsibilities

  • Lead HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
  • Mentor apprentices and junior installers.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with service and sales teams for project coordination.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and material usage.
  • Conduct final inspections and customer walk-throughs.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedHVAC Lead Installation Technicianto oversee and perform residential and light commercial HVAC installations. This role requires strong technical ability, leadership, and a commitment to delivering top-tier service. You will supervise installation projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure all jobs meet company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead HVAC installation projects from start to finish
  • Install furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, ductwork, and control systems
  • Mentor and train apprentice and junior installers
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and company procedures
  • Collaborate with service and sales teams for smooth project coordination
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and material usage
  • Conduct final inspections and customer walk-throughs
  • Address customer questions and provide system operation guidance
  • Maintain an organized work vehicle, tools, and job site
  • Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential and light commercial preferred)
  • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigerant charging, and duct installation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and various environments
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Compensation
  • After training:$30/hour or 6% commission on all installations led
  • Commission jobs do not include overtime—commission applies if it exceeds hourly total
