Legacy Air is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Lead Installer to lead and supervise installation teams, ensure quality work, and maintain safety standards.

You will plan and coordinate residential HVAC installation projects, read blueprints, and troubleshoot issues while delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Prior experience leading an installation crew or coordinating hvac projects
• EPA Section 608 certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, components, and building codes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and doing the job right the first time
• Professionalism and reliability with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of HVAC installers, providing direction, hands-on support, and training as needed
• Plan and coordinate residential HVAC installation projects, including scheduling, materials, and equipment preparation
• Install, assemble, and commission heating and cooling systems according to blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and codes
• Pre-measure job sites and ensure the team has materials, tools, and equipment needed
• Troubleshoot installation issues and verify systems are operating safely and efficiently
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations
• Maintain accurate job records and project documentation in company software
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and team members about progress and concerns
• Follow safety protocols and promote a safe, organized work environment
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment and keep job sites clean
