Freedom Air & Plumbing is hiring an HVAC Install Helper in Rockledge, FL. The role supports technicians with light repair and installation, and you’ll learn all trade aspects while maintaining a neat work area and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Own tools required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

HVAC Install Helper - FREEDOM Air & Plumbing

Location:Rockledge, FL
Pay:Hourly Rate + Performance Pay Program! - Average $40,000 - $60.000 / Year + as a Helper!

SCHEDULE: Wednesday - Sunday - Open Availability is required as shifts may include days, evenings. In this schedule Monday & Tuesdays will be your DAYS OFF in the week.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the technician with light repair and installation work.
• Observe and learn all aspects of the trade.
• Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintaining a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Always be courteous, respectful, and pleasant to the customer.
• Be accurate and timely with all paperwork.
• Obey the company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
• Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.
• Ensure safety best practices are followed in the field.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 2 + years of HVAC installation experience preferred
• Will need your own tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical school a plus)
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections
• Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics and climb ladders
• Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED:

• Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician (preferred but not required)
• Experience with Residential Customers
• Experience in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
• Experience with Service Titan
• EPA Certified preferred
• NATE Certified preferred
