Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an HVAC TB Journeymen Mechanic I to support light and heavy commercial systems through maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.

You will work with journeymen, servicemen, and apprentices to identify issues and improve facility performance. Responsibilities include performing service on centrifugal, steam turbine and open-drive equipment, partnering with teams, and providing clear recommendations and quotes to customers.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, and plumbing.
• EPA refrigerants license and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot HVACR issues in light and heavy commercial environments.
• Assist with commissioning and aftermarket service; provide recommendations and quotes.
• Document service activities clearly for customers and internal teams.
• Travel up to 20% to support branch activities and customer sites.
