Job summary

Trinity Health in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a dedicated HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance on hospital systems and controls. You will work as a journey mechanic and adapt to various HVAC equipment under the guidance of the certificate of competency.

Focus on reading hospital drawings, maintaining temperature and humidity via the energy management system, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational School graduate preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience in general maintenance.

• Works as required by Certificate of Competency with all types of HVAC, i.e., copper, steel, plastic, etc.
• Displays a good understanding of hospital drawings.

• Performs unrelated work as assigned as necessary.
• Supports the mission and vision of HCH at all times
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Complies with departmental and hospital-wide policies and procedures.
