Southern Careers Institute (SCI) is seeking HVAC instructors to share their passion for the industry and teach in our HVAC program. No teaching experience? SCI has successfully transitioned experienced technicians with no teaching experience into successful educators.

Responsibilities include hands-on training, delivering SCI accredited curriculum, and guiding students toward professional growth while emphasizing safety and regulatory compliance in a fully equipped facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC work experience.
• Ability to teach and mentor students in a hands-on lab.
• Wamiliarity with industry safety and regulatory standards.
• Ability to develop and deliver curriculum to align with SCI accreditation.
• Experience translating technical details into accessible instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands-on training in HVAC Technology in our facility.
• Deliver SCI accredited course curriculum effectively.
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability.
• Evaluate and communicate progress with students.
• Emphasize safety, compliance, and proper use of equipment.
• Prepare students for careers in HVAC technology.
