Gaston College is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Career & Technical Education division. The role involves teaching day and evening classes across multiple sites and modalities, including CCP/CTE pathways, with responsibilities spanning instruction, preparation, evaluation, and student support.

Collaboration with colleagues and ongoing professional development are expected. The position emphasizes accessibility, service to students and the community, and adherence to college

Qualifications

• Diploma in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration is required.
• CFC/EPA Refrigeration Certification is required.
• Associates degree in HVAC is preferred.
• Electrical or mechanical license is preferred.
• Must meet SACSCOC criteria and related accrediting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Show sensitivity to a diverse student population.
• Provide students with the approved course syllabus and relate instruction and evaluation to that syllabus.
• Maintain instructional quality and relevance; revise programs and syllabi as needed.
• Teach day and evening classes at multiple sites and modes, including CCP/CTE Pathway.
• Attend and participate in departmental, division, and college meetings; participate in graduation.
