Position Summary

This role ensures the proper installation and performance of customers’ heating, air conditioning, and refrigerant systems in residential settings. It involves identifying maintenance needs, providing customer guidance on equipment use, and ensuring all installations are completed safely with appropriate materials.

Essential Functions

1. Coordinate with Dispatch and management to ensure timely and accurate work order completion.
2. Install HVAC and refrigeration systems and related components to ensure safe and efficient operation.
3. Manage repair costs and minimize inefficiencies.
4. Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in safe operating condition.
5. Manage inventory to ensure availability of parts and equipment.
6. Respond to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns.
7. Transport tools, equipment, and supplies to job sites.
8. Work independently and communicate effectively with customers.

Position Competencies

• Knowledge of electrical wiring for HVAC systems.
• Ability to fabricate sheet-metal and duct transitions.
• Skill in removing and installing hot water heaters, furnaces, coils, condensers, and boilers with minimal damage and oversight.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance based on understanding of system operation.

Skills & Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Residential HVAC experience preferred.
• Universal EPA Certification with 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license required.
