Job summary

JRT Mechanical in the Tri-Cities area is seeking an HVAC Installer to join our Service Division and on new installations. You will work in a team and independently, with a company vehicle provided, serving small commercial and industrial customers.

Responsibilities include installing air handlers, rooftops, exhaust fans, heat pumps, mini-splits, PTACs, ductwork, and equipment start-up; also troubleshooting systems for a variety of clients. EPA 608 or 06A certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of HVAC installation experience.
• EPA 608 or06A certifications will receive higher wage consideration.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment: air handlers, roof top units, exhaust fans, MUA units, heat pumps, mini-splits, PTAC units.
• Install ancillary ducting and equipment start-up.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and perform repairs for commercial/industrial clients.

Background:

Come and join our rapidly growing family oriented company in the Tri-Cities. This position will work in our Service Division but will also work on new HVACinstallations or additions to current facilities. You will be operating out of your own company vehicle and will be expected to work both as part of a team and independently. You will be performing repairs to our Commercial and Industrial Customers in addition to HVAC installation on projects.

Our focus is primarily on small commercial and industrial projects.

The Work:

• Customers may include: School districts, hotels, apartments, food processing plants, warehouses, factories, assisted livings, logistics facilities, grocery stores, high tech companies, restaurants, etc.
• Work located in the Tri Cities area.
• Projects are generally smaller in scope and size.

HVAC Tech Duties include the installation of the following:

• Air Handlers
• Roof Top Units
• Exhaust Fans
• Make Up Air Units
• Heat Pumps
• Mini-Splits
• PTAC Units
• Installation of ancillary duct associated with HVAC equipment
• Equipment Start-Up
• Troubleshoot HVAC Systems

HVAC InstallerQualifications:

• 1-2 years of HVAC installation experience
• EPA 608 or06A certifications will receive higher wage consideration
